Study Skills

Trust Tutoring emphasizes “study skills in every assignment to assure the best possible impact for long-term successful learning. Beyond specific subject matter knowledge, students also develop time management, organizational skills and concept understanding that are vital to all areas of learning.

In each assignment, tutors set up a plan of study for students to work on specific topics of concern each day between sessions. Students will therefore have a written daily log to guide their time and attention to learning activities each day. They will therefore gain greater self-discipline and a sense of order and success from their efforts.

Tutors are supervised in their duties by regional directors who provide important consultation and support as needed in each assignment. This is a team-work approach, which also includes an important support role for parents of school aged students.
